Jamie Fico

I am the Graduate Research Assistant for the Community Geography Program for the 2020-2021 year. I am a first year MA student in the Geography Department at Syracuse studying agriculture, community resiliency and local environmental decision-making. I have a BA in Middle Eastern Studies and Global Security and Justice from the University of Virginia. I am also a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer from Morocco where I worked on community development and environmental sustainability projects. I am looking forward to following all of SCG’s projects and building relationships with the Syracuse community through the program.
