I’m a senior pursuing a B.S. in Economics and a minor in Geography. I’m interested in studying socioeconomic trends that occur in specific communities and analyzing related geospatial data to find causation. My studies are mostly concentrated on global cities and international trade patterns. The SCG internship was recommended to me by Dr. Winders due to my interest in improving communities through economic and geospatial analysis. With SCG I will be conducting and analyzing surveys to contribute to landscape planning of Barry Park (a neighborhood community park) and using my bilingual skills to offer translation services regarding studies involving the Burmese refugee population.
