Michael Kelly

My name is Michael Kelly (he/him/his). I’m a second year PhD student in geography. My research interests focus on political economy, urban geography, and housing justice. Particularly, I’m interested in how US real estate markets relate to systems of whiteness, racial capitalism, settler colonialism, and US imperialism. I’m currently working on a community-engaged project to create and launch a database and website of racially restrictive housing covenants in Syracuse (1914-1948).
