Syracuse Community Geography was approached by the City of Syracuse Parks Department to update and refine their existing GIS files for the city’s 120 parks, community centers, playgrounds, fields, and green spaces. SCG interns cleaned up and updated spreadsheets and shapefiles provided by the Parks Department and with their assistance with the goal of making the files easier to use for parks and city staff as well as be a better resource for public and research purposes.
