Simone Burns

A proud Floridian from Miami, I am a senior majoring in Environmental Engineering with a minor in geography. I am expected to graduate in May 2019 and throughout this year, I look forward to exploring the geospatial and historical relationships within the Syracuse community. I aspire to grow and utilize my GIS skills to merge my passions in education/outreach, environmental justice, and urban infrastructure. After graduation, I plan to continue research in graduate school where I can further explore the interactions between local communities and the built (and living) environment.
